This Little Mama Would Never Be Able to Work It Like She Does Without Big Daddy!

by This Mama Works It! on January 4, 2010

Last night I was living it up in the blogosphere after the two little divas went to bed. While I am sitting at the dining room table  my hubby comes strolling in from the kitchen. He says "so I read your blog". YIKES good thing I didn't write anything juicy yet. And I say "really? what did ya think?". He says "I like it...but...what about me? People are going to think I am just some shlup who does nothing and begs for sex..." I say "Well...honey...isn't that what you do...just kidding"

He is right! I could never be the mom I am without my hubby. We are a team! There have been times when we are in the trenches of getting the kids fed, bathed, and to bed when we would just high five each other. Then there are also times when the house is in utter chaos, kids screaming, dog barking to go out, phone ringing where we will just look at each other and burst out laughing because that is all we can do from throwing our hands up and crying. Of course there are times when the stress gets to us and we get pissed at each other. But we always apologize and never go to bed mad. Hopefully if we are not too tired there is some make up sex...hahah but seriously!

We are a team! We both clean, do laundry (wash, fold, and put clothes away), cook dinner and clean dishes. We both take care of the divas. I can honestly say we do everything equally. We have too! We both work full-time. So when we get home we have both been working all day and to make it work we have to work together. There are no breaks until usually 10:00pm when we crash together on the couch.

So there is no way this Little Mama could ever work it like she does without the help and support she gets from Big Daddy! And because my hubby plays such a huge role in my success in life maybe he would want to contribute at times to This Mama Works It! Hmmm we shall see. Now that would be fun!

I love that. My hubby reads my blog too…(or checks it out). I felt proud today when he called me from work and told me I needed to send a link to a friend of mine. I think he might of been bragging a bit!

My husband did the same thing to me once. He hated it, at first, though, because OHMYGOD people can find you. Then he chilled and realized people could find me anyway. Now he’s my biggest fan, but I do hate it when he tells me something is spelled wrong. It’s my blog, dude!

Your husband sounds great and you two make a good team! My husband and I are the same way. We also have decided to bring back the high ten. Because we are cool like that.

Cute blog…

This is so sweet. My husband sometimes reads my blog and is all, “You make me sound like an ass sometimes.” Well. Sometimes he IS an ass. But then again, so am I.

I’m so happy for you – a team!
Too many women are struggling alone or don’t get help enough from their spouses.
It’s always good to remember that children get their role models at home!
Today’s little boys are tomorrow’s men and husbands…

Sunny greetings from Cairo!

Hooray for the men who make it all happen. I’m thrilled to read about people who are making it work and was all geeked when you dropped by for the cougar rant. :)
