I got a lot of feedback and emails from my post on Toxic Friends. Obviously we can all relate to that. And since then I feel like my life has been overtaken with all kinds of relationship concerns and issues. Not so much my issues (some are) but other peoples issues. Regardless everyone comes to me for advice. Not sure why. Maybe because I live in reality, see things for what they really are, and tell it how it is nicely. Yeah that is probably it. My sister actually says I have a gift. So I decided to talk about all the relationship happenings that I have been coming in contact with over the last month or so. I am putting together a nice series that is sure to peak your interest, tickle your fancy, and maybe you can even learn a thing or two.
Just to give you a little teaser of what is to come here is what has come up in my life recently. My BFF is going through a divorce. We all got married the same year and it is really sad that it has come to this but her husband is an asshole and left her with no choice. As you know my sister is having issues with one of her frenemies. I ran into a cousin I have not seen in over 20 years because our fathers are stubborn idiots and did not take their kids feelings into consideration when they decided to stop talking. Lastly, after 12 years how my hubby and I still only have eyes for each other and actual have a great relationship. Some people have actually been shocked by this. And there is much more!
So that is just a little bit of what I have been writing about. But I also want to hear from you. What relationship issues/concerns have you been dealing with? Neighbors as Friends…I had a great friendship with one of my neighbors. Loved her. A new neighbor moved in and my friend spent time with only her. When I talked with her about how it was bothering me (tears and all) she brushed me off. Now this new neighbor has moved away already and the friend is trying to make it back into my life. I am just having a hard time with it…I don’t want to be hurt again.
I write about relationships and such too…sounds like some interesting topics. Sorry about your friend. Divorce is tough, even when it’s merited.

I think those are all good topics… how about the blame game. You know the passive aggressive mom blame game. Kills me everytime – today it was the MIL … grrr …
